A concept art assignment where students must interpret a child’s room in different time periods. On top of designing a room in two-point perspective, students must also create a toy boy in the form of an orthographic and put it in the illustration. I wanted to do a Victorian era room and took inspiration from tenement living in the 1800s, particularly from Jacob Riis’ “How the Other Half Lives”.
